Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of iCap SEO, a WordPress plugin and cloud-connected scanning service operated
by iCapSolutions (“we,” “us”). By installing the plugin, registering a site, or using the service, you
agree to these terms.
The service
iCap SEO scans WordPress sites you control, scores their SEO health, and offers automated or preview-based
fixes. Some checks are available on the free tier; the full check catalog requires a paid Premium
subscription. AI-assisted recommendation drafting is a separate paid add-on billed by credit.
Optionally connecting your Google Search Console account adds a real, read-only indexing status signal
alongside your scan results. This connection is never required to use the core service, and you may
disconnect it at any time — see our
Privacy Policy for exactly what that
connection can and cannot access.
Your account and responsibilities
- You must have the authority to install and configure the plugin on any site you register, and to
connect any Google Search Console property you connect. - You’re responsible for the content on your site, including content generated or modified with the
help of iCap SEO’s AI-assisted recommendations — review AI-drafted changes before treating them as
final, and understand that a small number of low-risk fields (like a meta description) apply
automatically to keep the workflow simple. - Keep your site’s access token and any account credentials confidential. You’re responsible for
activity that happens through your account.
Subscriptions and billing
Premium is billed annually at a flat rate with no per-site limits; AI Scanning credits are sold in packs
and never expire. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
before the renewal date; you can manage or cancel your subscription from the plugin’s Settings tab at any
time. We currently operate on a US-dollar, US-billing basis only.
Acceptable use
Don’t use iCap SEO to scan or connect sites and accounts you don’t have authorization to access, to
circumvent the service’s rate limits or entitlement checks, or in any way that violates Google’s or any
other integrated provider’s own terms of service.
Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but SEO scanning depends on third-party systems
(including Google’s APIs and AI providers) that are outside our control, and scan results and
recommendations are provided on a best-effort basis, not as a guarantee of search ranking or traffic
outcomes. We may update, add to, or discontinue features over time.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
iCap SEO is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent
permitted by law, iCapSolutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising
from your use of the service, including any impact on search rankings, traffic, or site content resulting
from a fix you approved or that applied automatically.
Termination
You may stop using the service and disconnect any connected accounts at any time. We may suspend or
terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, including the acceptable use section above.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an
updated “last updated” date above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
